On today’s episode of Keyed In: one of the most recognizable and beautiful Jewish music intros of the last few years. We performed it at The Elul Experience last week, where the crowd recognized it from the first three notes and went wild. For good reason!
So much creativity flows when we focus, practice, and just let the music take us somewhere. I figured I’d start sharing a little peek into the jamming & practicing. Welcome to “Keyed In”, a new series giving you a glimpse of life at the piano. What do you want to hear next?
Hashem wants us near. He waits with anticipation for our return, always ready to accept our teshuvah. Every small step we take brings us closer to Him 🫶

Turns out LinkedIn isn’t just for business connections - it can also connect you with cousins you never knew you had. (And this is the second time it happened this week 😲)
For me, visiting was even more meaningful knowing that my ancestor and namesake, Menachem Gershon, who was the Av Beis Din & shochet in Kerestir, is buried there as well.
B’zchus Reb Shayele & all of the greats buried there, may our tefillos be answered.
האטס געפועלט אלעס גוטס!
Tonight is the yahrtzeit of Reb Shaye ben Reb Moshe zy”a. People travel to Kerestir from all over the world to stand by his kever, to daven for yeshuos, and to feel the warmth he personified. There’s a feeling you can only understand when you’re there. 1/2
If I look like a kid in a candy store, it’s because I am 😁 Getting to experience my two biggest passions, music and finance, collide - on Wall Street no less - was unexpected and a real highlight for me. 🎶💰📈
On stage, we all watch just as much as we perform.
I was locked in on @BeriWeber’s moment & had no idea that behind me @IshayRibo was locked in on mine. I was humbled to see this pic.
Like they say: if you’re not in a room of people who inspire you, you’re not in right the room.
As we head into the Yomim Noraim, a time of tefillah and reflection, @srulygreen and I got together to prepare and get into the “Tishrei” mode. This medley is made only of vocals and piano - simple, authentic, and straight from the heart.

Continuing on my journey with the “Archiven” series, this time I stopped by @mendypiano for a fun jam.
Wherever the road takes you this summer, don’t forget your most important travel companion. May Hashem steer us safely, protect our every turn and bring us home in peace. Enjoy your summer!
And now, getting to learn side by side, just moments before Shavuos, in the mountains no less (fitting, isn’t it?)… it’s the perfect way to welcome Matan Torah.
Wishing you a gut Yom Tov, and may we all be zoche to taste the sweetness of Torah in every area of our lives!
Heading into Shavuos, I’ve been reflecting on just how much my life has changed for the better since committing to learning with a chavrusa every single day, no matter what.
A huge thank you to my chavrusa, Shia Freund, for sticking with me, despite my often crazy hours, and for the meaningful learning we’ve built together.
