Aggression must be called out by name. Independent medias confirm Eritrean troops are operating inside Ethiopia, violating our sovereignty and international law. We call on the international community to recognize the clear distinction between the aggressor and the victim.

I met with Vice President @KashimSM of Nigeria, who is visiting Ethiopia for a three-day working visit accompanied by a delegation participating in the Ethiopia–Nigeria leadership exchange.

Ethiopia and Nigeria are diverse nations with multicultural societies and large populations. This provides valuable opportunities for mutual learning and the exchange of experiences as we continue to strengthen cooperation between our two countries.

The groundbreaking of the Lamu Refinery serves as a reminder that moments of this kind mark a step towards enhancing Africa's industrial capacity, creating opportunities, and establishing the foundations for greater economic and industrial sovereignty throughout East Africa.

You, the industrial captains, investors, and entrepreneurs throughout the continent, must invest in Africa, have faith in our potential, and construct the transformative projects which will determine our common continental future.

The future of Africa is something that we shall have to build together.
