Forgive, But Don't Forget - His Holiness the Dalai Lama answers one of life's hardest questions. Forgiveness does not mean forget. It does not mean you accept the wrong action. It means you choose not to carry anger and hatred. Forgive the person. Oppose the action. Two different things. Video originally recorded on March 20, 2015.

"No. Homelessness is not a disease, it's a problem in society where people - they're living paycheck to paycheck. And everybody's one paycheck away from being homeless."

Of course, it’s a Las Vegas company saying that this 25 year vacant property can’t become affordable housing or temporary housing for homeless people.
Charleston is allowing their residents to get priced out when stuff like this happens. Very saddening.
We are so proud to sponsor the #jeffersonawards & we are grateful for the work UPLIFT CHARLESTON (Homeless advocacy & Charleston Community empowerment) is doing in our community. Aaron Comstock, thank you for your advocacy!@UPLIFTCharlest1
Unhoused communities in Atlanta are constantly under threat of displacement. This past Friday the city removed a community of people w/o considering the effects it would have. Belongings were stolen and tents were trashed meaning folks were forced to sleep on the bare concrete.
If the city is serious about addressing homelessness, this is what it’ll take. Read our demands: Homes, Healthcare, Water/Sanitation, and a Seat at the Table.
