Update: we now have aerators in place and operational throughout the lake, and tests are showing that oxygen levels are already rising, reducing the risk of further fish deaths
Sadly, a number of fish have died in Wimbledon Park Lake.
Initial investigations indicate that the likely cause is the exceptionally hot weather, and there is no evidence to suggest that pollution is responsible.
