@eye_moisturizer I do agree. The majority of the fandom is queer. I feel like a solid 60% of the fandom is gay men alone. That's not even counting gay women and trans/non-binary people.

I have no issue with straight people being in the fandom. I just wish they'd be more friendly.

@MetalloGato i believe theres a lot of disgruntled straight dudes that complain about the queer presence because they entered a subculture assuming they were gonna get away with "hey I like this very weird and quirky thing" and refusing to interrogate their deeper beliefs/desires

I still believe the way people act so loosely about sexuality is what enables that kind of abusive behavior to fly under the radar. Not saying the average joe is responsible, but its just the environment it creates. People are too comfortable pushing boundaries.

While that does apply to everyone, I think the gay community in particular could tone things back a few notches.
