@JustinZwack Yeah pretty much... I think people in a big company is "hungry" for a "vision holder" in their proximity, and I think it happens rather organically. The LD is also often well suited, since they are so close to the game/team. But it comes with pitfalls. Burnout for instance 🤷‍♀️

Going from being a #leveldesigner with level ownership in a #AAA company to being a Game Director in an #Indie studio didn't even feel like a transition....

I'm not the only one with this experience, and I feel like that's something we need to talk about.

@sdgiesselmann Nice! Thanks for replying ♡ yes I can see how the narrative aspect will just demand a lot more negotiating. I've only worked on singleplayer games or games with some narratice impact. I wonder if there are other big factors (size of the studio ofc... ) 🤔
