Those with respiratory conditions may be more sensitive to smoke from brush fires. If smoke impacts your area, remain indoors if possible, keep windows and doors closed, and avoid unnecessary outdoor exposure.

If you’re heading to a match, Fan Fest, or any World Cup event, remember to drink water regularly and take breaks from the heat when needed. Be sure to look for Miami-Dade County hydration stations located near the stadium and Fan Fest areas.

A little preparation goes a long way, stay hydrated, seek shade when possible, and check on those around you.
