My name is Micah Jones and I’m running for Congress.
I’m a veteran, attorney, husband, and father - running for Congress because I love this country, Massachusetts, and the greater North Shore communities that my family and I call home.

Connecting with folks around the District, and across the political spectrum, has been my favorite part of the campaign. Many thanks to Roger for hosting the meet and greet at his restaurant, April’s, in the Great City of Lynn, earlier this week!
Many thanks to @josh_hammer for having me on his show today! I am grateful for this opportunity to discuss my race the Massachusetts Sixth Congressional District, explain my platform, and discuss my path to victory. I am excited to share the interview with you all soon!
The primary job of the government is to protect its citizens.
Absurd ideas like abolishing the police or dismantling the prison system completely contradict the purpose of government.
In Congress, I will always stand against such extremism, while standing for common sense and the rule of law.
It was another busy weekend around the Massachusetts Sixth Congressional District! From having a booth at the Gloucester Block Party, to organizing a campaign standout in Peabody, to attending celebrate Burlington Day, to speaking at the Wilmington RTC cookout, and then finishing up at Beverly homecoming, it was wonderful connecting with different folks and sharing my vision on how best to represent the district in Washington. I hope that you all have a great start to the week!
I had a great conversation with Trey Gowdy last night on Fox News’ Sunday Night in America!
I’m running for Congress to serve Massachusetts and our country, bring common sense back to Washington, and advance policies that promote accountability, expand opportunity, and strengthen our nation's security.
It’s time for leadership rooted in service, focused on results, and committed to doing what is best for the District, the Commonwealth, and America.
In Congress, I am pledging to streamline permitting to reduce costs. I will fight to 1) reduce duplicative federal review where multiple agencies are doing the same thing and 2) set clearer timelines for federal permitting decisions. This will ease the permitting process for Massachusetts residents.
Honored to attend the Purple Heart Day ceremony in Ipswich today. Many thanks to VFW Post 1093 for honoring our country’s Purple Heart recipients and their service and sacrifice. 🇺🇸
Another busy week on the campaign trail!
I started the week with fundraisers and meet and greets in North Andover and Salem, joined the Lynn Veterans Council Charity Golf Scramble, spent time talking with voters at Beverly Lobsterfest, and attended Veterans Night Out in Salisbury.
This weekend, I’ll be at Celebrate Burlington, the Wilmington RTC cookout, and the final Beverly Homecoming festivities.
And on Monday, August 10 at 6:00 PM, I’ll be at April’s Restaurant in Lynn for the campaign’s next open meet and greet. Many thanks to Roger for hosting!
One conversation at a time, the campaign continues to build momentum across the North Shore and Merrimack Valley.
I loved my military service, but I'm the first to say that the military is not for everyone.
At a time when so many young Americans feel discouraged and disenfranchised, I think part of the reason is that too few have had the opportunity to serve their communities or our country. That's why I want to see expanded public service opportunities outside of the military, including bringing back a modern Civilian Conservation Corps with GI Bill-style education and training benefits.
Young Americans could gain valuable skills, serve their communities and our country, and then transition into the private sector with experience, purpose, and a strong work ethic. That's an investment in our next generation and in America's future.
The campaign has had a very busy summer on the campaign trail! I have loved exploring the Massachusetts 6th Congressional District, meeting voters, and sharing my platform.
The three pillars I am running on are:
🇺🇸Accountability for members of Congress
🇺🇸Opportunity for MA-6
🇺🇸Security for America
Please DM me, reach out to [email protected], or https://t.co/DHNCbeoYvE, if you would like a yard sign, are interested in volunteering, or would like to learn more about the campaign. Have a great week!
Renewable energy is important to our future, but as we rely more heavily on it, we have to ensure that we do not lose focus on the cost of living. Far too often in Massachusetts, clean energy goals have been prioritized over affordability, which has greatly burdened our residents.
In Congress, I will prioritize lowering costs and reliability alongside clean energy goals.
🎤 Mic'd up at Yankee Homecoming!
Come along with me through Newburyport's Yankee Homecoming Parade. It's one of the great traditions of the North Shore, and a reminder of what makes the Sixth District so special!
It was awesome attending the Yankee Homecoming Parade this Sunday in Newburyport! Many thanks to everyone who came out to attend the parade, and I loved meeting so many people! The campaign is continuing to build momentum and I look forward to earning your vote as we head toward the general election! Have a great start to the week! 🇺🇸
I had an incredible time marching in the Yankee Homecoming Parade in Newburyport this morning! A sincere thanks to all of the volunteers that made this such a success!🇺🇸
