Pendant 6 semaines, de 9h00 à tard le soir, nous allons porter la voix des parties civiles, victimes des faits qui lui sont reprochés, qui nous ont confié leur défense.

C'est une lourde responsabilité et un honneur mais nous serons à la hauteur. La justice est un devoir que l'humanité doit aux victimes et aux survivants du génocide commis contre les Tutsi. Je suis fier et honoré d'apporter ma modeste contribution aux côtés de mes autres confrères, conseils des parties civiles.

D’art et de mémoire…

Ces dernières semaines ont été marquées, en France, par des moments majeurs pour la mémoire des nôtres : ces hommes, ces femmes et ces enfants, plus d’un million de vies fauchées parce qu’identifiés comme Tutsi, en 1994.

Le 23 mai 2026, le film Ben’Imana de Marie-Clémentine Dusabejambo reçoit la Caméra d’Or et le Prix FIPRESCI des critiques internationales de films, au Festival de Cannes.

Le 2 juin 2026, L’Archive, le monument conçu par Grada Kilomba en mémoire des victimes du génocide perpétré contre les Tutsi, est inauguré par les présidents @PaulKagame et @EmmanuelMacron, ainsi que la Première Dame @FirstLadyRwanda, à Paris, sur les bords de la Seine.

À travers ces deux œuvres, l’art devient à la fois mémoire et transmission.

S’y inscrivent les questions de justice, et de la parole, qui libère et aide à panser les blessures du passé.

Mais surtout de la responsabilité de transmettre aux générations futures, l’histoire de ceux qui ne sont plus.

Ainsi, par le cinéma, comme par la pierre, leur mémoire demeure vivante et continue d’habiter notre présent.

Pendant six jours à Kigali, 24 entraîneurs venus de 14 pays francophones ont partagé connaissances, expériences et bonnes pratiques dans le cadre de la Formation des Entraîneurs Francophones, organisée par @FranceOlympique en partenariat avec MINISPORTS.

Les participants ont renforcé leurs compétences sur des thématiques essentielles telles que la détection des talents, le développement à long terme de l’athlète, la planification sportive, la prévention des blessures, la nutrition, l’entraînement inclusif et l’élaboration de projets de performance.

Cette formation a également offert une plateforme unique d’échanges et de collaboration entre professionnels du sport, contribuant au renforcement des capacités des entraîneurs et au développement de la prochaine génération d’athlètes africains. Une vision commune pour un sport africain plus fort et plus performant.

Le lauréat du prix Nobel de chimie, Omar Yaghi, a mis au point une technologie solaire innovante capable de produire de l’eau potable directement à partir de l’air ambiant.
Cette avancée repose sur des matériaux ultra-poreux appelés MOF (Metal-Organic Frameworks), qui captent l’humidité présente dans l’atmosphère. Une fois l’eau absorbée, l’énergie solaire permet de la libérer et de la transformer en eau propre et consommable.
Selon les travaux de son équipe, ce dispositif peut fonctionner même dans des environnements très arides, y compris dans certaines zones désertiques où l’humidité de l’air est extrêmement faible.
Cette innovation pourrait représenter une avancée majeure face à la pénurie d’eau, notamment dans les régions touchées par la sécheresse ou dépourvues d’infrastructures hydrauliques. Autonome, écologique et alimentée par l’énergie solaire, elle ouvre la voie à une solution durable pour faciliter l’accès à l’eau potable.

He is loved by all those who through duty, travel, good education/intellectual curiosity, cultural exposure etc, have seen for themselves what he did for his people.
