If capitalism is so great, why do corporations need tax breaks, subsidies, exemptions, grants, bailouts, legal protections, and trade barriers to survive? And when ordinary people ask for help, why is it suddenly called socialism?
@seeyalaterPHIL@BootsRiley Also, theft is usually less of a โIโm doing this because I saw it in moviesโ & more โI am struggling to survive poverty in a society that stopped caring long agoโ situation. wage theft ($50B) vs shoplifting ($15B) proves companies take more from workers than is physically stolen.
Go see I LOVE BOOSTERS in theaters asap. @BootsRiley is a creative genius and this kind of visionary filmmaking needs to be supported, especially when I hear so many folks complain about a lack of original concepts in todayโs cinematic offerings.
@seeyalaterPHIL@BootsRiley You have to see it, absorb the statement itโs making on culture/fashion/approriations/capitalism etc.. in no way a senseless glorification of property theft like itโs been framed by the right, but rather an ingenious (& fun/visually stunning/enlightening) masterpiece of a film.
