Columbia women's basketball head coach Megan Griffith suspended for the first three games after an investigation into her coaching behavior in practice last season. The Lions, who are coming off a WBIT championship, play Davidson, Rhode Island and Belmont to open season.

Need some friends in the Evansville area this coming Friday. DM me if you’d be willing to help me out from 8am-2pm that day. Need experience in technology.

[Mid-Major Madness @mid_madness]

@MMaworst Let them lose on the field then.

God knows the 8-4 SEC team already did

[Mid-Major Madness @mid_madness]

I would rather have a team that actually won its conference have a chance to compete on the sport’s biggest stage than a team that blew its opportunity over and over again during the season regardless of what the result is.

[Barry Bonds @MMaworst]

@mid_madness Hell no. Absolutely not, what the fuck are u talking about. We dont not need the winner of Conference usa making the playoffs and getting smoked by 50

[Mid-Major Madness @mid_madness]

Yeah I mean there is ZERO reason to call it the "Football Bowl Subdivision" when it has a playoff with as many teams as the FCS lol

[Colten @kingpeachcolt]

@mid_madness Well we may as well go back to the I-A and I-AA for FBS and FCS at this point. Poor non-NY6 bowl games...

[Ohio Valley Conference @OVCSports]

It addition to our live stream on ESPN+ tomorrow (https://t.co/w9QcaK47u4) you can catch a live stream by @IsaacBourne_ for @mid_madness.

Make sure to follow both accounts for great content on Friday.

@PatLovesSports Yeah this is true. I didn’t have a problem with 4. 12 is whatever. 24 is just ridiculous.

Auto-bids for EVERY conference champion or WE RIOT

[Pete Thamel @PeteThamel]

Sources: The College Football Playoff is nearing a deal to expand to 24 teams, per sources. The new format will start in 2027 and is expected to come together in the near future, pending final approvals.

Our women's preview series continues as @FrankDeBari and @ianrsacks break down the SoCon, Southland and Summit. Balance seems to be the story in the SoCon and Southland as the Summit looks to come down to two.

[J.J. Post @JayJayPost]

Folks, if you are going to be in Rock Hill South Carolina for the 3am game… OR Sioux Falls South Dakota for the 8pm game, let me know… because I will be attempting to cover both in the same day. And I would love to talk to any of my fellow sickos who will be there.
