1. Fluctuation is normal. Energy shifts, strength shifts, recovery slows down sometimes. That’s your body responding, not slipping.
2. Women don’t run on a 24 hour cycle. We run on a 28 day one, and your training should reflect that.
3. Rest is part of the plan. More isn’t always better. Recovery is where the work actually shows up.
4. Your nutrition needs shift throughout the month. What your body needs in your follicular phase and your luteal phase are two different things.
5. Your energy levels are information. Every time I overrode what my body was telling me, I paid for it.
You don’t know what you don’t know. I spent a long time fighting my own biology when I didn’t have to.
Comment EVOLVE and I’ll send you my full framework on training with your biology instead of against it.

In your luteal phase, estrogen drops, and that shift affects serotonin too. That's why stress feels bigger, your mood feels harder to manage, and things that wouldn't normally get to you suddenly do.
That's a real, predictable shift your body goes through every single month. It's not weakness. It's not you being dramatic. It's biology.
And here's what I want women to understand: you can still show up in your luteal phase. You just have to show up differently. Adjust the plan, protect your energy, give yourself more grace. That's not falling off. That's strategy.

Most women are eating enough and still under-fueled. The two aren't mutually exclusive.
When your body isn't getting enough of the right nutrients, it keeps sending hunger signals looking for them. You can eat plenty and still feel hungry if the nutrition quality isn't there. That's not a willpower problem. That's your body doing exactly what it's designed to do.
Your cycle makes this more complicated because your body's needs shift throughout the month.
In your follicular phase, when estrogen is higher, your body handles structure well. This is your window for more intentional eating, tighter nutrition, more discipline around what you're putting in.
In your luteal phase, when progesterone rises, cravings go up and your body starts storing more. Forcing the same strict approach in this phase works against your hormones, not with them.
Eat with your cycle, not against it.

I spent years thinking discipline meant doing the exact same thing every single day, same intensity, same expectations, no room for adjustment.
Your body is giving you information. Learning to use it is the strategy.
I help women train with their biology instead of against it. Every other week I send my thoughts on cycle syncing, hormone health, and performance straight to your inbox.

Your hormones aren't glitching. They're responding.
Every time you override your body's signals to push through training, that gets logged somewhere. Sometimes it shows up right away as exhaustion or a missed lift. Sometimes it shows up months later as a cycle that suddenly feels unrecognizable.
This isn't about training less. It's about training with intention that actually accounts for what a female athlete's body needs to function, not just what a program says you should be doing on paper.
Ignore the data long enough and your body will eventually make you listen.

Visible abs tell you almost nothing about hormone health, recovery, or how someone actually feels day to day.
Health isn't a look. It's how your body is functioning underneath the surface.

I wish someone would've told me sooner that skin is not just about skincare.
Your skin reflects your stress levels, sleep, recovery, hormones, nutrition, gut health, and how supported your body actually feels.
For years I didn't understand why certain products weren't working. My skin was telling me something was off internally.
Once I started paying attention to that, fueling my body properly, managing stress, supporting my hormones, and training with my biology instead of against it, everything started to shift. Including how my skin responded to the products I was using.
The right products matter. But they work better when your body is supported from the inside too.
Your skin is constantly giving you information. Not punishment. Not failure. Information.
Sometimes breakouts, dullness, puffiness, or inflammation are your body asking for support, not harsher control.
Your skin is a body signal. Start reading it that way.

For a long time, women were taught that eating less automatically meant discipline.
But under-fueling your body can quietly impact everything: energy, recovery, mood, cravings, sleep, training performance, and hormonal health.
A lot of women are not “lazy” or “unmotivated.”
They’re simply undernourished.
Your body is not asking you to punish it harder.
It’s asking you to support it better.
Healing your relationship with food doesn’t happen overnight.
But learning to fuel yourself without guilt is one of the strongest things you can do.
You are allowed to eat enough.
You are allowed to nourish your body.
And you do not have to earn your food.

Battle ropes, banging weights, whatever the tool is.
The real skill is knowing when to go and when to adapt.
That's the difference between training and training smart.

Hard work matters. But it's not the whole equation.
The women who actually get results aren't the ones grinding at max intensity every day.
They're the ones who stay in the game long enough for their effort to compound, adapting instead of forcing.
Consistency beats intensity every time.

Training with your cycle isn't a trend. It's just biology finally being respected.
Unbothered because the data backs it up.

Your supplement cabinet doesn't need to be complicated. Here are a few things I actually use, day in and day out.
Consistency beats perfection, in training and in the small stuff too.

The reps matter. So does the language you use while you're doing them.
Every "I have to" can become "I get to." Every "I'm falling behind" can become "I adapted."
Your self-talk is coaching you, whether you're paying attention or not.

Your hair is often one of the first places your body tells the truth.
Not because your body is failing —
but because it’s prioritizing survival first.
Shedding, thinning, dryness, and brittleness can all be signs your body needs more support.
For years women were taught to ignore the signals and just push harder.
But your body works as one system.
Healthier hair didn’t come from chasing products for me.
It came from supporting my body better.
Things that personally helped me:
• Eating Whole Foods
• Supplementing with real nutrients
• Reducing endocrine disrupting chemicals
• Learning to adapt to my body's needs
Your body is always communicating.
The goal is learning how to listen earlier.

Most women have been told the goal is to eat less. What that misses is what your body actually needs: the right fuel, in the right amounts, at the right time.
For women, there's a layer most diets ignore entirely: your cycle.
In the first half (the follicular phase), estrogen is high, cravings are lower, and your body responds better to a calorie deficit. This is the window where dieting actually works with your biology.
In the second half (the luteal phase), progesterone rises, your body burns more energy, and cravings increase. Hard restriction here works against you.
Dial back in weeks one and two. Ease up in weeks three and four. Cycling your diet with your body is how you make it sustainable.
Which phase do you find hardest to stay consistent? Drop it below.
If this shifted how you think about your body, comment ADVANTAGE and I'll send you the manifesto and journal.
Me: “Universe, give me a sign.”
The universe: “You don’t need more discipline. You need a better strategy.”
Not every day is meant to look the same.
Not every workout needs to be hard.
Push smart.
Push cyclically.
Push sustainably.
Your body is your advantage.
