Migrate Drupal module (older Drupal version migrations) just got stable yesterday in Drupal 8.6.0. Work on making the Upgrade UI stable as well is still ongoing in https://t.co/fYE3F1XAvi, reviews welcome.

This is shaping up to be a very exciting release!
