Training is complete, and I have moved to my new apartment!

Now I wait for a few appliance deliveries to be made...

2 days of training done, thank goodness for the movement known as "Cool Biz", meaning jackets, ties and top buttons can be forgotten during Summer until September!

Went to go find where my training takes place, ended up somehow going all the way out to Yokohama and back 😂

Last day of vacation! A little under 15 hours from now and my training will commence!

Wanted to get a closer picture of the Tokyo Tower while I could, managed to stumble upon the start of the Zojoji Bon Odori Matsuri.

Truly the biggest combination of everything you could want to experience in Japan: food stalls, taiko drums, communal dance, crows and cicadas

Spotted the Skytree whilst in Asakusa. Would have gone up again, but one time having my ears pop from the elevation change was enough for me, thank you 😂

Went round to Asakusa to check out the Sensou-ji market and temple, still as busy as ever, and even saw some 19th century style rickshaw drivers still doing their trade on the street

Overheard some tourists pointing out a Warhammer Cafe down the street and had to go take a look.

I'm not a major fan myself (a lot of detailed paint work goes into even the smallest model, that you have to do yourself), but know some people back home would love to see this.

Visited the Akiba Culture Zone, and saw a popup display of various mecha figures (mostly from Gundam)
