@Vitality_UK is there a known issue with the app and the new Apple Watches? Steps are being picked up just fine, but none of my workouts are registering since I upgraded to Ultra3. Settings all correct, is there a back end change needed for the app to recognise new watches?

They’re likely either waiting for Marketing to tell them what they can post, or Marketing have said no. If the social media team are putting in a Sat morning shift, so should their marketing team!

Instead, it means they can’t control the messaging or the conversation. More brand damage done than simply stepping up and owning the issue.

@HarryBarnes1 Yeah I can understand that. I stopped posting much on Twitter years ago so don’t feel part of a community here so for me it’s a good thing. But for those that use it a lot and use it very differently to IG, I totally get why you wouldn’t want those worlds colliding, so to speak

@MrJRan I had same issue and ‘downloaded’ the Mac App Store versions to stop it (reality was I didn’t have to remove the Office programmes, it just ‘linked’ the apps to the Mac App Store versions instead when I clicked download). Then pretty sure I just removed MS auto update software

@LeoGebbie I found this frustrating too when I fully dumped the Garmin in favour of the Ultra. Assumed that Apple’s ‘lap press’ stamp in the file must be different to that of other fitness watch providers. Good to hear it’s fixed!
