I've been silent all day on this because I needed the space to find the words about Stosh Cienki.
What a wonderful human being. He had the most infectious laugh. I remarked to a colleague today, "I'm sad I'll never get to hear him laugh again." Stosh had such a passion for what he did. He encouraged all of us to be ourselves. Whenever I would be ranting and rambling in a break and we were laughing over it, he brought it right to air for us. He made us love our jobs the way he did. He was one of one in the industry.
Stosh was the first person at ESPN to ever reach out to me to guest on a show with @ColemanESPN. I was so excited that he thought of me. When I started at ESPN, he made me feel like I was there for years. He made me better every time we worked together. Whenever it was me & @Ianfitzespn, the three of us were out of control and could not stop laughing together. He let us go off the rails in the best way possible! I never left a show with Stosh without smiling and feeling like that was some of the best work we've done.
Whenever I made a mistake, he always gave me a hard time about it in a way that made me feel like I was learning, not being chastised. He brought the best out in me and I'm forever grateful.
I'm forever going to miss him. I'm always going to be able to hear his voice in my ear. And I'll never forget his laugh that was joy for the soul! @ESPNRadio won't be the same without you. I'm gutted and heartbroken for his wife, Kelly Ann, and their children. Much love always, Stosh. Rest in peace, my friend. 💔🕊️🙏🏽
God Bless my brother Stosh of @ESPNRadio. The best kind of friend is the one that even though you don't see them as often as you'd like, whenever you do it's always easy, as if you were together all the time. That was him. I'll see him again and again it will have been too long.
As a a neophyte on ESPN Radio, one of the first people I talked with was Stosh. For two years we had constant priceless conversations about radio, families and sports. He made you better at work & life. Stosh was one of the kindest humans, a gem. Gutted for his family.
Longtime ESPN Radio producer Stosh Cienki has sadly passed away at 52. He spent over two decades in Bristol and was loved behind the scenes at @espnradio. Colleagues remembered one of the network's most positive forces and steady professionals.

After three years covering the Chargers, today was my last day. Starting next week, I’ll be covering the Sixers for ESPN. Excited to move back to my hometown for what could be a transformative year for the franchise.
New @espn: The story of Aiden Dunican, a 64-year-old Irish immigrant and 30-year Wrigley rooftop owner, fighting the Cubs to stay in business.
A quixotic fight against the inevitable or a principled stand for the little guy? https://t.co/MBpuhzpopd
As Season 4 of @TedLasso wraps up today, it closes a chapter dedicated to women's soccer.
The global hit made a pivot and didn't look back.
"It was like, OK, well to come back, it has to be for some other reason," @jasonsudeikis told me about going from men's soccer to women's.
I talked with @brendanhunting, @hanwaddingham, @schuerta, @meredithspeck25 and @nealymartin, among others, and took a deep dive into Ted Lasso's move to the women's game, and what a show with its stature can do for the sport and the @NWSL, in particular.
