I think it is a good thing. I just wish that we could specify the minimum SVN version when enforcing it. Originally, I was under the impression that once it was set, it would automatically update. That does not look to be the case, which is a good IMO. It gives time to get boot/recovery media updated and tested before applying (depending on the cycle).

Looks like the September 2026 CU bumped the Secure Boot Secure Version Number (SVN) to 11.0. The system will not automatically enforce it. It will only enforce the version when the SVN registry value was last set. Here my laptop was at 7.0 previously. Rerunning 0x200 bumped it to 11.0:
