The recent orchestrated attacks by the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) in Balochistan are profoundly disturbing and intolerable. These heinous acts of terrorism have resulted in the loss of innocent lives, including civilians and courageous security personnel, while targeting our institutions and the province's peace. I unequivocally condemn the BLA in the strongest terms—these are merciless terrorists spreading chaos, not advocates for any cause. Their actions only bring hardship to the Baloch people they falsely claim to represent. We must acknowledge and commend the exceptional bravery of our security forces—Army, FC, Police, and others—who responded promptly and valiantly, neutralizing dozens of these foreign-sponsored militants (with reports of 67+ eliminated in today's clashes alone) while defending the nation at great risk to their own lives. Their sacrifices safeguard us all. Pakistan stands united against this externally-backed terror. No sponsor of violence will succeed in undermining our resolve. Justice will prevail, and peace will return to Balochistan.

Tirah: Unveiling the Facts.
1. Law enforcement agencies, including police, intelligence agencies, and the army, have been conducting targeted operations across the country at an impressive rate of over 200 per day, totaling more than 75,000 in the last year alone, demonstrating the nation's unwavering commitment to security. 2. These operations have yielded significant results, with a record 2,597 terrorists neutralized in the past year alone, showcasing the efficacy of our law enforcement agencies in combating terrorism. Their tactics, technology, and procedures have been continually refined to ensure maximum impact. 3. Notably, these operations have minimized population displacement and human suffering, thereby reducing the narrative of terror facilitators and their political patrons. 4. Tirah, plagued by terrorists and a terror economy fueled by drugs, was subjected to these operations. In September, local leaders reached out to military and government authorities to find a solution to the terrorist presence, which was causing risks to the local population due to the terrorists' tactics of using human shields, drones, and storing explosives within populated areas. 5. Three options were explored: the jirga engaging with the terrorists, security forces intensifying operations, or locals voluntarily vacating the area to facilitate security operations. 6. The jirga initially opted to engage with the terrorists but was met with refusal and disregard for cultural norms. 7. Subsequently, the jirga proposed a voluntary relocation in line with traditional migration patterns, allowing security forces to operate without risking civilian lives, and it must be emphasized that security forces did not force this displacement at any point. 8. The aftermath saw a deliberate attempt to create a fiasco through false propaganda, highlighting the challenges in combating terrorism. 9. Claims of operations not being conducted are misleading; six army units have been stationed in Tirah for over a year, and the nature of operations requires strategic planning, especially considering the seasonal challenges. 10. The question remains why false narratives are being pushed, potentially complicating counter-terrorism efforts and facilitating terrorists, rather than acknowledging the complexities of the situation and the efforts being made to ensure security and peace.
