Muss sagen, dass nach dem Ende von Twitterrific et al. die UX hier echt schlechter geworden ist. Mit Ivory gibt's für Mastodon eine richtig gelungene App (unter iOS zumindest) - hilft aber alles

@Plinz @The_Smoking_GNU Again: Musks offer is no reason to immediately leave Twitter. We will have to wait and see how this develops. In general I wouldn't consider a net gain in user accounts as the main metric for evaluating the approval of Musks idea for Twitter. Whatever that idea even is...

@Plinz @The_Smoking_GNU I think it's premature to come to the conclusion that more people look forward to this "new direction" just because there's a net influx of users right now. Older users didn't immediately leave Twitter just because Musk took over. They might do so if the "new direction" sucks tho

- Platzhirsche wie Tweetbot und Twitterrific als monatliches Abo. Oder man zahlt 30€ (Twitterrific) oder lebt damit, dass man in der kostenlosen Version nicht mal Tweets abschicken kann (Tweetbot)

Nach 8 Jahren jetzt wieder ein iPhone im Einsatz: Apps und UX nach wie vor „runder“ als auf Android aber zwei Punkte die direkt negativ auffallen:

- Die Tastatur ist 8 Jahre später immer noch eine Zumutung. Keine Veränderung der Größe unabhängig von der Displayeinstellung möglich (?!), Cursorplatzierung und Textauswahl umständlich, Sonderzeichen nicht vorhanden (Brüche bspw.), …
