This initiative seeks to contribute to a safe and inclusive civic space where Women Human Rights Defenders with disabilities can exercise their rights, influence decision making, and lead change in their communities.
Together, we are advancing protection, leadership, and visibility for WHRDs with disabilities across #Kenya.

Without insulting the faithful, we must nevertheless confront a sobering truth: no society can outsource public safety to unregulated piety. Kenya has reached a moment where certain religious practices, when they endanger life, dignity, or reason, must be controlled, curtailed, or abolished in the public interest. Faith, when left unchecked by ethics and law, can mutate from a moral compass into a social hazard. Freedom of worship is sacred, but it is not a license to harm. The republic has a duty to protect its citizens not only from the excesses of the state, but also from the excesses committed in God’s name. @abuga_makori@AyubAbdikadir@WilliamsRuto@MamaRachelRuto@MigunaMiguna@kipmurkomen@OleItumbi
Know a publisher or initiative improving access to reading materials for persons who are blind or print-disabled?
Just a week left to nominate them for the 2026 Accessible Books Consortium International Excellence Award 🏆
I stopped at the point of he said " Two blocks that voted in WSR- The church and the mountain"
Sounds like the shareholding narrative shortly after 2022 elections.
We resist ethnic bigotry that we inherited from our colonial masters who left long ago. We move on
Prof, the Prophet should know that disabled people like myself and othera are not seeking healing but rather, a just world where we can simply live and thrive.
I am not concerned whether Owuor created the world or not. For avoidance of doubt Owuor and I come from the same village. I am shocked that he could say "me and God created the planets". Had he gone to Alliance he should know that it should be "God and I created whatever..."
@aomenya Prof, tell him that folks like me and othera are proudly using crutches for mobility. In fact for many years! Next time he can consider using the picture of heaven or something symbolic of God's kingdom for his posters. Am sure his followers will focus more on their destiny .

I am curious @AtwoliDza did you give a ‘State of the Workers of Kenya’ speech or mpaka August 2026? Is it possible you share a TV debate with some GENZ/Y leaders on ‘Youth unemployment and its Solutions in Kenya’? As a fellow Senior Citizen, I could escort you to that palaver.
