I built a better version of splitwise yesterday: https://t.co/qOlWTUqY8g
With splitwise:
- All friends need to sign up for account/download the app
- All members must be added before assignment is accurate
- Splitwise forces you to pay via their rails
- Adding multiple expenses at a time arbitrarily rate limits you
With this app:
- Free to use
- All accounts are handled via URL
- You can manually add everyone in the group without any action on their part
- Settling up links you to venmo
Use it on your next trip! I know i will.
@edwardbenson Will you be working on ai integration for design files?
I’m wanting the ability to prompt to iterate over ui versions directly in the canvas.
@figma Will you be making the ability to prompt to generate editable design mockups?
I don’t want to make a prototype, I want to be able to iterate fast within my Figma design files.
unsponsored shoutout to @tokentax
using them the past few years
tried 3-4 crypto tax apps before them
always ran into issues
tokentax team has fixed any issues i have
rarely see them on the timeline
so wanted to show some love
also the founder's name is zac (bullish)
I’ve been building @TokenTax for 9 years.
It’s crazy to think that me and my co-founder built a sustainable business in a market that’s everything but sustainable.
It’s invigorating seeing how each year of work builds on the last. Persistence really hits over a decade.
Rev Proc 2024-28 is the biggest fundamental change for crypto taxes since 2017.
Every single crypto tax product is handling tax lot allocation differently which is quite concerning.
