If you hit your kids, you will create permanent emotional distance with the only person/people you could ever be that close to, not to mention sending them down the road of being as much of a lost fuckup loser as you are who will hit their own kids, or wont, but only after spending a decade figuring out why they reflexively apologize all the time.

I'm happy to say that I'm finally recording the script! The major parts of the video are complete, with the final touches able to be fleshed out throughout the recording and editing process as time progresses and the video is refined as much as possible. Who knows, maybe things have to be cut and added last-minute. But, essentially, the script is done!

What started as a small rebuttal to one YouTube video has transformed into a mega-project against a once subtle and ever-growing sub-cultural movement, involving an entire throwing out of the script format and a complete rewrite with a much more refined approach from the outset. All of this has produced a script that spans almost 80 pages and close to 40,000 words (in timecode, that's about four hours of talking!).

I'm very excited to get this project completed. Even if it doesn't perform well, this is a video that I've technically been working on for well over a year. After that, it's the 100 Days of Medic/Elmaxo tribute video, and after that... well, I'm not sure. I've been encouraged to revisit the Bluefort video and even make further attempts at correcting overarching fallacies within this strange community. Perhaps a look into TF2 mapmaking, branching out to other Valve games, or returning to the Source mods I once used to love so dearly.

What I do know is this: I will be primarily relieved when this is all said and done. This video has taken up far too much mental and emotional space, and even with the many breaks I have taken to recoup and regenerate my brain, this video has found plenty of interesting ways to break my spirits. It almost makes me wonder at times why I even bother with this game in the first place.

Be that as it may, I think the end result will be well worth the wait on your end and well worth the effort on my end. Criticisms from the Lucid CTF response video I made have been received and applied here as much as possible. The runtime might not be to everyone's liking... but depending on how the editing and script narration goes, I might just divide it into parts, get them edited, and then upload them once a day after they're all completed. You guys can suggest ideas for formatting of this "manifest" in the replies if you'd like.

As far as general updates to my audience goes: the livestream formats will be a bit weird from now on, but I promise that I'll be doing my best to provide as many updates as I can. Please do share at least a heads up for this video's release with everyone you know, as I really want this to at least raise some eyebrows and get everyone's attention if for no more than a brief moment.

I've been trying to find ways to get more activity involved, so any respectable conversations are welcome!
