When @Opera launched @MiniPay, the goal was a "clean, familiar, comfortable UX," leveraging Celo's phone number mapping (@Selfxyz's Self Connect) & fee abstraction

20M+ activated wallets later, @murrayspark100 explains how MiniPay is delivering on this vision

For over two years, Boost has paid rewards straight into your wallet, day after day. Thank you for being part of it. 💚

An update on MiniPay Boost.

Today's Boost rewards went out at a lower rate than recent weeks. We know Boost is one of the most loved parts of MiniPay, so we want you to hear it from us.

[MiniPay @minipay]

The campaign is still running. As always, rates and the campaign itself are reviewed on an ongoing basis, so Boost stays sustainable and reaches as many users as possible

"Capital already exists on the continent — it's fragmented. The next step is consolidating it, so it can stop, breathe, and decide where it wants to go."

Diaspora capital, fragmented and global. That's the exact problem MiniPay is fixing. On the ground at BITES26, Berlin.

@minipay Coffee and groceries are daily, which is where 5% really adds up. It also means the card gets used several times a week - a huge benefit of putting it in users hands.

the @gnosispay card closes this year. the infra doesn't.
3 apps already running on it:

> @getrebind: best choice for EUR cards. No new ID checks, your account, IBAN and card carry over. Easiest migration. ~5% EUR yield + up to 5% cashback for $GNO holding. But it's not clear how cashback will work after its shutdown on Gnosispay (30th September)

> @usePicnicBR: another no re-KYC option, with same card. Recommended for USD cards. No cashback, ~3.5% USD yield. It started as Brazil only card, but expanded to whole world. They also offer ~2.2% EUR and ~12.4% BRLA yields

> @minipay: requires new account, recommended for USD cards. 5% cashback (up to $100 monthly) in $XAUt or $USDC in EEA. Up to 125% APY (capped at $10 per week, depends on balance + activity). The first product built on new system, deployed on Celo instead of Gnosis Chain. Built by Opera browser
