Honestly, I don’t really care for the outrage on this.
The 35 page doc leaves out criticism of Israel and antizionism. A lot of the funding goes toward interfaith initiatives.
I think there needs to be a concentrated effort on the pro-Palestine side to campaign on realistic initiatives Mamdani can take on and not just give up on him.
Mamdani literally spearheaded the Not On Our Dime bill as NY assemblyman to stop NY nonprofits from supporting Israeli settlements. He has previously championed this cause and we can build off this.
He has to work within the confines of NY and federal law. At the bare minimum, he can dedicate staff to investigate violations of NY real estate laws at West Bank settlement sales events, and refer evidence to the AG. Having a team creating a papertrail of that is magnitudes better than what we currently have, and future laws can build off that. Maybe there just hasn’t been enough effort to advance that which is why its not happening.
I think there is a natural but amplified tendency to totally give up on some politicians that are genuinely persuadable and its not actually materially advancing the cause for Palestine. My family is over there being terrorized by these settlers and I’m sick of missing opportunities that could have actually helped them while the pro-Israel side is still lobbying Mamdani nonstop even when they absolutely despise him.
Aaron always sound. To make their safety an institutional priority, while Muslim youth have been shot at the street for wearing kufiyas, paralyzing one from the waist down, while genocide in Gaza has erased a million lives, this is a theater.
I'm not criticizing Zohran for doing this because I understand he has to deal with a very toxic political reality. Politics is a different game.
But to me launching a "Strategy to Combat Antisemitism" in a time of the Gaza genocide is akin to a "Strategy to Combat Anti-Whiteness" at the height of South African apartheid. That's not even a fair analogy: Israel and its apologists do infinitely more to both fabricate and encourage anti-Semitism.
You sound the same as Zionists: "If we really wanted to ethnically cleanse Gaza, we would have leveled them with nukes in 2 days." No, you wouldn't. Obvious doesn't finish the job. Systematic does. Same as with your Qatar final. But you're all such tribalists that you're incapable of unbiased self-reflection.
Breaking: Lindsey Graham is dead at 71 after a brief and sudden illness.
He spent the final years of his life advocating for war, genocide, and dropping a nuclear bomb on the Palestinian people.
Good riddance. The world is a better and safer place without this lunatic in it.
I have a suggestion for you @FIFAcom :
Why don't you just organize "world cup" for your preferred nations/players so the rest of us doesn't need to spend any money to watch fraud live or to have our dreams shattered...
Simple, do the world cup, invite England, Brazil, Portugal, France, Argentina and maybe a couple of others and maybe hosting countries and that's it.
I would be a lot more honest than what you are doing right now...

Apparently FIFA is scrubbing this video from the web. Did you notice on ALL replays, it was a far away side angle during VAR where you’re told “if he touched the ball he was offsides” but they missed the spot- the Croatia player never makes contact with the ball. Rigged, and sloppy #WorldCup
Sharing the stadium with Ghana's supporters was such a pleasure and privilege; what a beautiful, cool, regal people! We had fun together before, during, and after the match, exchanged jerseys and phone numbers, drank and ate together — an absolute favorite World Cup moment/day.
A Croatian supporter asked if we could swap jerseys because he loved my Ghana 🇬🇭 shirt. Of course I said yes 🇬🇭🤝🇭🇷
A special World Cup moment, exchanging jerseys from the stands. Football truly brings people together. ❤️
@Somatichealer0 You have no idea about us, but you know all about Croatian anglophobia and some weird ustashe resentment? Ok, clown.
What's your explanation for the entire planet being annoyed by your football fandom? Everyone despises you. You respect no one. Global anglophobia?
My post on Threads today: "Watched the Scotland - Morocco game today with the Tartan Army, top 10 moments of my life: pregame, game, aftermath! These humans are truly top tier."
English prick comments: "🏴 are 💩
Support the far superior 🏴"
He writes this to a Croatian person. I would rather slit my wrists than support that insufferable bunch.
@LeahRay44 No one is scared of you, you're just the most annoying fandom in the history of mankind. Total opposite than the Scots, the coolest people and fans on earth. You entered Boston trashing the Tartan Army with your stupid diss chants, jealous everyone loved them. What do you expect?
Fox Sports shows a video of Lamine Yamal in Target.
Rebecca Lowe: “Have you been in Target yet Zlatan?”
Zlatan: “No, not yet.”
Alexi Lalas: “You haven’t lived!”
Zlatan, looks at Alexi, eyerolls: “Please, bring me there.”
This World Cup is NOTHING without Zlatan.
