We start their curriculum looking at โfantastic placesโ to widen their knowledge of the world.
@MrsC_Nurture We marked all of their answers individually but just wrote their individual targets (takes about 3 mins per answer maximum). Then during the fix it lesson did all of the tasks together. So effective and the kids love it - especially the praise section!

I am extremely excited to teach my new 'Global Issues' SoW to Year 8 next half term. The unit is centred around the SDGs to create a thread between the different topics!
Spending some time completing our end of year revision sheets myself.
Very helpful with self/peer assessment and ensuring that the tasks work effectively.
@Rjhunt1989 Of course! I have shared some free fieldwork resources previously too. We use Brentford as a human study and Osterley Park as a physical study. I have found ecosystem fieldworks are more rare but I felt it worked well!
Spending a little bit of time creating fieldwork 'cheat' sheets for the GCSE Paper 3 exam.
These will accompany the student's fieldwork booklets and some exam question exemplars.
Coming soon: AQA's 2024 Issue Evaluation Support Booklet. I am nearly there with the planning of this comprehensive student guide to the Tudeley Development. Please do keep your eyes peeled if you think this could be of use.
Today a student in another #geography class commented how much helpful they find the case study and exam question booklet for revision. Made my day #GeographyTeacher You can download it here for your students https://t.co/0s0OuKK3Gb
