In honour of #RemembranceDay this week, our y7s & y8s will be doing something a little different in some of their lessons. By the end of the week, they should know more about fighting in WW1, medicine used, countries&people involved in the war, & will look at some war poetry too!

Had to balance childcare and the online #vSHP sessions this weekend but I managed pretty well! Some great, thought provoking sessions. I particularly enjoyed the Britain and transatlantic slavery session by @Abdul_Mohamud and @whitburn_robin yesterday!
