@Kama_Kamilia not really necessary, sea of thieves is a fun game that has a lot of issues with onboarding new players and some structural flaws that make things like hopping for good servers essential for a fun time. most people who stick around were introduced to it by someone else

@Kama_Kamilia good servers is another factor of it, most people who play a lot of sot repeatedly leave and rejoin the game because they know how to tell if a server is trash or not. most new players will just take whatever server they get and its usually gonna be a lame one

@Kama_Kamilia I dont blame the majority of people not finding it fun, because heres the checklist to truly experience quality sea of thieves gameplay

1: be good at the game (at bare minimum these days, 500 hours)
2: have a crew that is also good at the game
3: get lucky with good servers

@henrybadger19 potions were a great work around on some servers yeah, im just saying totem crystal pvp last about the same amount of time. although it is much worse for other reasons, mainly that crystal pvp is stupid as fuck.
