Statement from Minnesota GOP Chair Alex Plechash
"Last night, radical protesters stormed the stage at our Lincoln Reagan Dinner and held up a KKK symbol while Speaker Lisa Demuth spoke. Speaker Demuth is the first Black woman to serve as Speaker of the Minnesota House and is poised to become the first Black woman governor in our nation's history.
Let's be clear about what happened. Left leaning protesters aimed a symbol of racial terror at a Black woman leader, at a dinner named for the president who ended slavery. The KKK was born in the Democrat South to keep Black Americans from voting and holding office. Its symbols still have no place anywhere, least of all aimed at a Black woman seeking the highest office in our state.
Eagan police issued trespass orders, and charges are under investigation. We thank them for acting quickly.
Our mesaage to the DFL Party, Amy Klobuchar, and Peggy Flanagan is this: Intimidation, criminal behavior, and racist rhetoric have no place in Minnesota politics. Republicans debate ideas, and we'd welcome the DFL to show up and do the same.
Every hour they stay silent says something. Their silence is deafening."

In my remarks at the @mngop Lincoln Reagan dinner, I said that this election is about common sense versus crazy. That contrast was on full display as radical leftists stormed the stage in an attempt to take over the event to intimidate and scare people. Their disruption left everyone in the room even more convinced that Minnesota needs to turn the page on Democrat lawlessness. #MN01
The U.S. Dept. of Justice has announced an indictment that "accuses a Minnesota man of taking part in a child meal fraud scheme tied to Feeding Our Future." Yet ANOTHER example of taxpayer dollars stolen under AG Keith Ellison's watch. #FraudFriday

Klobuchar Toxic Leadership Fact of the Week: @amyklobuchar reportedly called new employers of her departing staffers to have their job offers rescinded. Why is Angry Amy so vindictive?

Kate is a middle school teacher, a mother of six, and seven years cancer free. But dealing with health insurance made going through chemo even harder.
I had coverage I could depend on when I was treated for breast cancer, and Minnesota families deserve the same. As Governor, I will keep fighting to lower health care costs so people can afford the care they need.
Far-left open-border policies created a crisis at our southern border and in our communities. Brad Finstad and President Trump secured the border and made sure criminal illegal immigrants were deported. #MN01
Jake wants to repeal No Tax on Tips, No Tax on Overtime, and the new $6,000 social security deduction. Don’t listen to us, read his own words:
“Congressman Finstad voted for that, I would have voted against that” ABC 6 News, May 1st, 2026

Biden created an ag trade deficit of $50 billion and zero new trade deals.
President Trump has cut the ag trade deficit nearly in half and U.S. corn, dairy, ethanol, and soybean oil exports are all hitting record highs. #MN01

If you want to stop fraud and make life more affordable a “big pharma” lobbyist may not be your best choice. The residents of Lino Lakes, Centerville and Circle Pines deserve better than this.
Longtime Pfizer lobbyist running for competitive seat in Minnesota House
According to lobbyist disclosure records from the Minnesota Campaign Finance Board, DFL candidate Jim DeMay was first registered as a Pfizer lobbyist in Minnesota in 2011.
Peggy Flanagan refuses to call out the real issue: Somali gang violence.
Today, federal law enforcement foiled an ISIS-inspired terrorist attack at the Mall of America.
Peggy is captive to the far left.
She won’t stop the fraud.
She won’t stop the crime.
She won’t protect Minnesota.
Minnesota deserves better.
Plechash: Minnesotans Need a Public Safety Plan. Amy Klobuchar Hasn’t Made It a Priority.
Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman Alex Plechash released the following statement:
“Public safety is the first responsibility of government. Yet Amy Klobuchar’s campaign website does not list it among her stated priorities. That omission speaks volumes.
“Gunfire at a church in Edina. A shooting outside a homecoming football game in Eden Prairie that forced families to evacuate and led to the cancellation of the homecoming dance. Violence is disrupting traditions and threatening places where Minnesotans should feel safe. Our suburbs are not immune.
“Parents should be watching their children on the football field—not searching for them after a stadium evacuation. Families deserve a governor who treats their safety as an urgent responsibility.
“Where is Amy Klobuchar’s plan to confront gang violence? To support law enforcement? To keep repeat violent offenders from hurting more people? If she wants to lead Minnesota, she owes Minnesotans answers.
“Lisa Demuth has been endorsed by law enforcement and has a detailed public safety plan. She will fight for stronger sentences for repeat violent offenders, more resources for teams investigating gang crime, better recruitment and retention of police officers, and funding to strengthen school safety.
“Minnesotans deserve accountability—for criminals who threaten their families and fraudsters who steal their tax dollars. They deserve a governor willing to confront these failures and deliver results.
“We don’t need Washington talking points. We need Minnesota action. We need Lisa Demuth.”
BATTLE FOR MINNESOTA: @Garrett_FoxNews reports live from Minneapolis on how the U.S. Senate race in Minnesota is suddenly turning into a high-stakes battleground. Republican nominee and former sports broadcaster Michele Tafoya is putting pressure on Democratic nominee and Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan, focusing heavily on a massive fraud scandal that unfolded under the Walz administration. While Flanagan has distanced herself from the oversight failures, national Republican leaders like Senate Majority Leader John Thune note that the state is emerging as a prime opportunity to put Democrats on the defensive as both sides clash over inflation, national policies, and accountability.
I am deeply honored to receive the endorsement of the Police Officers Federation of Minneapolis.
As Governor, I’ll ensure that criminals are punished. Strengthening public safety will always be a top priority. I look forward to working with the federation to make Minnesota a better place to live, work and raise a family.
