1/3. Today ,The Director of Foreign Trade at the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Mr. @Abdihalim33 , officially opened a stakeholder consultation as part of developing Somalia’s National Trade Policy 2027–2031, aimed at shaping priorities for the country’s trade sector.
@Abdihalim33 2/3. Participants reviewed preliminary findings from an assessment of Somalia’s trade environment and discussed key challenges and gaps in trade policy, legislation and institutions, including trade facilitation, customs systems, trade financing and licensing procedures.
H.E. @AmbGamal presided over the handover ceremony between outgoing Deputy Minister H.E. Mahamud A. Ahmed & newly appointed Deputy Minister H.E. Osman Mohamed. He expressed appreciation for the outgoing Deputy Minister’s service & wished his successor success in his new role.
