The @LPTC_MOC has inaugurated the Saudi Pavilion at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2026, running from the 7th to the 11th of October at Messe Frankfurt. The pavilion showcases the Kingdom’s literary landscape through a selection of Saudi and Arab literary works as well as seminars exploring the role of literary translation in transferring knowledge and building intercultural dialogue, among others.

Did you know camels have already made their way from Saudi heritage to contemporary fashion?

From the bisht to leather shoes and bags, camel materials are being reworked into contemporary design. Saudi brand @TamasheeME, led by Muneera Al-Tamimi, uses camel leather to bring Saudi heritage into modern pieces.

Supported by the @FashionMOC, designers are continuing to draw on the Kingdom’s heritage and craftsmanship to shape contemporary fashion.

And the camel’s fashion story travels further: camel hair has appeared in luxury pieces from Louis Vuitton, Prada and Ralph Lauren.
