Yesterday, the MID Board of Directors unanimously approved the 2027 budgetβfollowing a busy summer of budget workshops, including thoughtful discussion and careful review.
Throughout the process, MID staff and the Board evaluated projects based on need, timing, and overall value to ensure weβre making responsible investments while keeping costs top of mind.
MID continues to invest in the infrastructure needed to provide the essential services you rely on every day. The approximately $600 million 2027 budget, with no electric rate increases, reflects our ongoing commitment to thoughtful planning, fiscal stewardship, and the customers we serve.

MID continues to support restoring and enhancing habitat for native fish in the Lower Tuolumne π
The Tuolumne River Partners have begun construction on the Powerhouse Riffles Restoration Project, a mainstem Tuolumne River restoration effort designed to improve spawning and rearing habitat for salmon and other native aquatic species.
