Participated in the National Departmental Summit on Water chaired by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji in New Delhi.

The Summit reaffirmed the spirit of Team India and cooperative federalism in addressing India’s water challenges through collective action, innovation and people’s participation.

For Odisha, with agriculture at the heart of our economy, strengthening water security and irrigation remains a key priority. We are accelerating irrigation infrastructure, promoting water conservation and groundwater recharge, strengthening Pani Panchayats and embracing technology for efficient water management.

Inspired by the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of Jan Bhagidari, we remain committed to building a water-secure and Samruddha Odisha.

For over a decade, Nayagada’s sugar industry was allowed to decline, while its farmers were left to bear the consequences.
The sugar mill, closed in 2014, remained defunct for more than ten years. More than 12,000 sugarcane farmers lost an assured market, even as repeated demands for its revival continued.
Years of neglect turned a functioning agricultural ecosystem into a long-pending problem. Farmers waited. The previous government did not act.

'ପାଞ୍ଚଜନ୍ୟ' ଦ୍ୱାରା ଆୟୋଜିତ ଦୁଇ ଦିନିଆ 'ସୁଶାସନ ସମ୍ବାଦ- ଓଡ଼ିଶା କୀ ଉଡ଼ାଣ ୨.୦' ସମାରୋହର ଶୁଭାରମ୍ଭ କରିବାର ଅବସର ମିଳିଲା।

ଏହି ଅବସରରେ 'ପାଞ୍ଚଜନ୍ୟ' ପତ୍ରିକାର ଓଡ଼ିଶା ବିଶେଷାଙ୍କ 'ଉଁଚୀ ଉଡ଼ାଣ'ର ଉନ୍ମୋଚନ କଲି। ରାଜ୍ୟର ଅଗ୍ରଗତି, ସମୃଦ୍ଧ ସଂସ୍କୃତି ଓ ଅପାର ସମ୍ଭାବନାକୁ ଜାତୀୟ ସ୍ତରରେ ଗୌରବର ସହ ପ୍ରଦର୍ଶିତ କରିବାରେ ଏହା ଏକ ପ୍ରଶଂସନୀୟ ପ୍ରୟାସ।

ଏହି ସମାରୋହରେ 'ପାଞ୍ଚଜନ୍ୟ'ର ସମ୍ପାଦକ ଶ୍ରୀ ହିତେଶ ଶଙ୍କର ଜୀ, ରାଷ୍ଟ୍ରୀୟ ସ୍ୱୟଂସେବକ ସଂଘର କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ପ୍ରଚାରକ ପ୍ରମୁଖ ମାନନୀୟ ଶ୍ରୀ ପ୍ରସନ୍ନ ମିଶ୍ର ଜୀଙ୍କ ସମେତ ଅନେକ ବିଶିଷ୍ଟ ବ୍ୟକ୍ତିବିଶେଷ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ଥିଲେ।

Inaugurated the two-day ‘Sushasana Sambada - Odisha Ki Udaan 2.0’, organised by ‘Panchjanya’ in Bhubaneswar, and unveiled its special issue, ‘Uchee Udaan’.
The initiative is a commendable effort to showcase Odisha’s progress, rich cultural heritage and immense potential on the national stage. The event was graced by Shri Hitesh Shankar Ji and RSS Kshetra Pracharak Pramukh Shri Prasanna Mishra Ji.

ନୟାଗଡ଼ ଚିନି କଳର ପୁନଃପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ନୟାଗଡ଼ ସମେତ ଆଖପାଖ ଅଞ୍ଚଳର ଆଖୁଚାଷୀଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିବ ନୂଆ ବଜାରର ସୁଯୋଗ। ଏହା ଦ୍ଵାରା ଆମ ଆଖୁଚାଷୀ ଭାଇଭଉଣୀମାନଙ୍କୁ ନିଶ୍ଚିତ ବଜାର ମିଳିବା ସହ ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ଯୁବକଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହେବ ରୋଜଗାରର ନୂଆ ବାଟ। କୃଷି, ଶିଳ୍ପ ଓ କର୍ମସଂସ୍ଥାନର ସମନ୍ୱିତ ବିକାଶ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ଏକ ସମୃଦ୍ଧ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଗଠନ ପାଇଁ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସରକାର ସଂକଳ୍ପବଦ୍ଧ।

Heartiest congratulations to 4-year-old Elena Mishra of Odisha on creating history as the youngest female player to hold an official FIDE rating.

At an age when most children are taking their first steps into learning, Elena has already made her mark on the world of chess. Her achievement is a proud reflection of exceptional talent, dedication and determination.

May Elena’s remarkable journey inspire many more young minds across Odisha to dream big, pursue their passion and achieve excellence. My best wishes to Elena and her family for many more milestones ahead.

President Droupadi Murmu interacted with a group of artists from Ganjam and Gajapati districts of Odisha at Rashtrapati Bhavan. She emphasised that education plays an important role in the progress of individuals as well as society. She urged them to encourage and support younger generations to receive education and acquire relevant skills. She said that they should embrace modern development while remaining rooted in their rich cultural heritage and traditions.

ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ଖଣିଜ ସମ୍ପଦରୁ ରାଜ୍ୟ ମଧ୍ୟରେ ଅଧିକ ଆର୍ଥିକ ଲାଭ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହେବ। ଅଧିକ ପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟାକରଣ ଓ ଉତ୍ପାଦନ ଦ୍ୱାରା ଶିଳ୍ପ କ୍ଷେତ୍ର ଆହୁରି ସୁଦୃଢ଼ ହେବା ସହ ଦକ୍ଷ ନିଯୁକ୍ତିର ନୂଆ ସୁଯୋଗ ସୃଷ୍ଟି ହେବ। ଏଥିସହ ଖଣିଜ ସମ୍ପଦରୁ ସୃଷ୍ଟ ଅଧିକ ଆର୍ଥିକ ମୂଲ୍ୟ ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ହିଁ ରହିବ, ଯାହା ରାଜ୍ୟର ଅର୍ଥନୈତିକ ବିକାଶକୁ ଆହୁରି ସୁଦୃଢ଼ କରିବ।

ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ଲୋକଙ୍କ ଜୀବନ ଓ ଜୀବିକା ସହ ଖଣି କ୍ଷେତ୍ରର ଗଭୀର ସମ୍ପର୍କ ରହିଛି। ଏହା ରୋଜଗାର ସୃଷ୍ଟି ସହ ପରିବହନ, ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ବ୍ୟବସାୟ ଓ ଶିଳ୍ପକୁ ଗତି ଦେଉଛି। ଏଥିସହ ଭିତ୍ତିଭୂମି ଓ ବିକାଶ ପାଇଁ ଆବଶ୍ୟକ କଞ୍ଚାମାଲ ଯୋଗାଇ ରାଜ୍ୟର ଆର୍ଥିକ ଅଭିବୃଦ୍ଧିରେ ଯୋଗଦାନ କରୁଛି।

ଅଧିକ ଖଣିଜ ବ୍ଲକ୍‌ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ଷମ ହେଲେ ଓଡ଼ିଶାରେ ଖଣିଜ ଉତ୍ପାଦନ ବଢ଼ିବ। ଏହା ଅଧିକ ରୋଜଗାର ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିବା ସହ ସ୍ଥାନୀୟ ବ୍ୟବସାୟ ଓ ଅର୍ଥନୈତିକ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକଳାପକୁ ସୁଦୃଢ଼ କରିବ। ଏଥିସହ ରାଜ୍ୟର ଦୀର୍ଘମିଆଦୀ ରାଜସ୍ୱ ଆହୁରି ବଢ଼ିବ ଏବଂ ଖଣିଜ ସମ୍ପଦର ଲାଭ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ବିକାଶରେ ଅଧିକ ଭାବେ ବିନିଯୋଗ ହେବ।

ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ସମୃଦ୍ଧ ସାମୁଦ୍ରିକ ଐତିହ୍ୟକୁ ଆଧୁନିକ ଶିଳ୍ପ ଶକ୍ତିରେ ପରିଣତ କରିବା ଦିଗରେ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସରକାରଙ୍କ ଆଉ ଏକ ଐତିହାସିକ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ । କେନ୍ଦ୍ରାପଡ଼ାରେ ପ୍ରସ୍ତାବିତ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ପ୍ରଥମ ବୃହତ୍ ଜାହାଜ ନିର୍ମାଣ ଶିଳ୍ପ କ୍ଲଷ୍ଟରକୁ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାରଙ୍କ ନୀତିଗତ ଅନୁମୋଦନ ।

ଜାହାଜ ନିର୍ମାଣ ଓ ମରାମତି ସହ ଇସ୍ପାତ, ଜାହାଜ ଇଞ୍ଜିନ ଓ ସାମୁଦ୍ରିକ ଉପକରଣ ଭଳି ଆନୁଷଙ୍ଗିକ ଶିଳ୍ପର ବିକାଶ ସହିତ ଏହା ନୂଆ ନିବେଶ ଓ ନିଯୁକ୍ତିର ବିପୁଳ ସୁଯୋଗ ସୃଷ୍ଟି କରିବ । ଓଡ଼ିଶାକୁ ଦେଶର ଏକ ପ୍ରମୁଖ ସାମୁଦ୍ରିକ ଶିଳ୍ପ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ଭାବେ ଗଢ଼ି ତୋଳିବା ପାଇଁ ଏହି ପ୍ରକଳ୍ପ ଆହୁରି ସୁଦୃଢ଼ କରିବ ।
