@oldmanebro@Tyllaaaaaaa@AppleMusic We have people in Nigeria that are more light skinned than Tyla and they never called themselves colored. I honestly think itโs just a way of escaping the Black Tag
I genuinely think itโs dangerous for Nick and Vanessa to blatantly gloss over and ignore the serious DV and verbal abuse happening at this reunion and just spin everything back into a spiel about why their experiment is great. Half of these men should be locked up. #theultimatum
I liked Tylaโs album, A*POP, but ngl, the whole neon and 2010s aesthetic had me expecting something a little different vibe, more heavy bass, glossy EDM mixed with Afrobeats. I feel like some people might not connect with it because they expected the same thing
Context matters :
14 million South Africans go to bed hungry every day.
28 million people are dependent on social grants and highest grant is R2400.
40.8 million people live below R2900 a month.
So there can be no job or business activity that should be undermined or dismissed as โcrumbsโ when people barely survive.
Tyla has officially released her highly anticipated sophomore album, A*POP, in countries where itโs already midnight.
Early reactions are overwhelmingly positive, with fans already calling it a banger. The wait is finally over.
