@midDay26 She joined that Hailey Van Lith, Maddy Westbeld group that there is no reason they shouldn't be getting minutes, but for some reason they aren't. The thing is I watched Lucy in college & she brought the ball up the floor on every possession- Unselfish- Smart- Don't get it
@Boredy_Mcbored Now if you want to talk about her 2-10 shooting and 0-3 from 3's and reluctance to pass the ball when moving straight ahead towards the hoop- That may be an issue of concern
@WNBA_Analyst Get used to it. her $800,000 is guaranteed next year too. I think they're sleeping on Grace Vanslooten. Actual moves in the post, 10 foot jumper, and a smart mobile player
@Boredy_Mcbored if you watch the whole play, she lost Clark way down under the rim on a curl at the start of the play and more than likely ran 100mph at her to catch up where she was. I don't think she planned to do it- Maybe there was a switch on baseline as well
@WNBA_Analyst You see that all the time now. Teams are more taught to kick out on the 3 point shooter than stop the drive. The crazy thing is sometimes the offensive has a clear layup and still kicks out as well. Lexie went out to the shooter- maybe thinking she had help in lane
@DamonG89403665 If you watch the play- The reason she came charging out at her 100mph was that she lost her on the curl way down on the baseline and didn't stay with her
@DamonG89403665 Also provided 2-10 shooting, as well as 0-3 from 3. Free Lucy Olson from Witness protection & give her some of McMahon's minutes. Much more versitile game & brought the ball up as a PG in college on every possession
@baileel12 Worth every penny. 2-way players are very difficult find who can almost guard any position. They won't have to worry about Mitchell money though. That will free up some money. Boston may have been an overpayment- Really good player but not highest paid in league
@HollywoodIzzyb Nice player but she is another guard at 5'9". They have No Mobile Bigs except maybe Poffenbarger. Theyre not even playing Maddy off the DS.
@wbbmayer They will never get worse than Connecticut and they have a 1st round pick swap with the Sky. There is zero sense in tanking. Theyβll be fine with future draft capital going forward. They also have the Skyβs 2028 first
@WNBA@coinbase One of the few times McMahon gave the ball up Instead of putting her head down and charging to the rim. Has to get better at that. Olson is a lot better at finding teammates but is missing in action somewhere in parts unknown
@Halcyon6161 Amoore and McMahon are throwaways in that trade along with the 2nd. Clark value is at least three number one picks. Lexie one of the best way players in league. Add another 1st for her plus maybe someone better than Amoore or McMahon.
@gabsjaquezmuse@DouBasket28 Best player on team already! Hands Down! Pray that the "Win Now Horrible GM" doesn't trade her for a bunch of aging vets before they fire him
@eswillow72 Correct. Banham is shooting her age from the field (32%) and 27% for 3's. Sydney can do exactly that & more so Rachel is a luxury for maybe a contending team. One guard-Syd can replace both her & Natasha & they wouldn't lose a step & gain a roster spot
Why wouldn't the Sky claim Pissott off Fever's developmental squad if they're not going to play Maddy- who should be rostered every game-Maddy is bigger, better shooter, can stretch the floor unlike Aisha. You have vets taking roster space you can drop & eat $ if youre willing
@eswillow72 Aicha is 0-6 (3's) & 32%/field- Mostly layups- Hustles but-fits the mold of KC & EW. But Jeff loves non-shooters (Michaela last year). Eat either D'jonai or Cloud salary (Sloot 2 yr Guar) & do something. Or release Aicha from DS & look for upside stretch Big or any French player!
@horpeyhemi16@seattlestorm So basically, you are trading Clark with 2 more years of team control for a single 2027 1st rd pick. None of those other parts to the trade would even matter & you are not including any of their 2 young Bigs
