Jalen Brunson put on a show to bring his team a championship! Knicks got hotter than a stripper twerking all night at Magic City during the playoffs and never turned off the stove 🔥🥵! Congratulations well done champs! @ESPNNBA@nyknicks
@Realrclark25 Don’t look at this as a defeat. Look at this as a “NEXT PLAY!” This could be blessing behind the fire. There could be FAVOR attached the fire. RC maybe God removed you because you were too comfortable and he has more for you. Or maybe God removed you because he heard conversations when you weren’t around. Either way, it’s a WIN WIN situation. I’m rooting for you! God bless you!
This what you received in those 12 years…

S – Strengthened

Jaylen Brown says he had his first NBA paycheck mailed to him so he could hold it in his hands: $182,000
“I told them to mail it to me so I could just feel it and touch it. I wanted to see my first check. I wanted to feel it in my hand”
“The first check that I got was $182,000. I remember seeing that as an 18-year-old coming from a single parent household. I just saw $182,000 hit on the first check and I was like, ‘Alright, welcome to the NBA’”
BREAKING: The NCAA is officially adopting the age-based eligibility structure, giving players 5 years to play 5 seasons from either when they enroll or from the season they turn 19 (whichever comes first).
The Division I cabinet was unanimous in their vote for the new model.
Haaaaa! My man Big Perk @KendrickPerkins is the new GM of an HBCU! Love it! If there’s anyone who’d be no-nonsense and make sure these kids know the real and have their heads on straight, it’s Big Perk. Proud of you bro!
Former first lady Michelle Obama delivered an emotional tribute to her husband, former President Barack Obama, during the Obama Presidential Center's grand opening ceremony in Chicago Thursday.
"You told me all those years ago that you couldn't promise me the world, but you could promise me an interesting life," she said, "and of course you outdid yourself and managed to give me both."
They represent to me what’s best about this country and what’s best about our values and people who aren’t trying to get every last nickel, and aren’t cutting corners when it comes to values, and treat people high and low with respect and kindness, and handle their business, just salt of the earth, bedrock people. There are people like that all across the South Side of Chicago, and there are people like that all across this great country of ours.
She made a home for Michelle and Craig here on the South Side of Chicago, not with a lot, but with a lot of love and hope and perspective and wisdom.
And her husband Fraser Robinson, who got up every day and went down right next to Navy Pier, working in the water reclamation district. He showed what it means to work hard and to put family first.
To everyone who helped bring the Obama Presidential Center to life, thank you. Michelle and I are so grateful for all your dedication and hard work over the years.
I got a little teary-eyed tonight thinking about my mother-in-law, Marian Robinson.
Two brothers from Richmond were the first in their family to go to college, and they both became doctors. Now Drs. Travan and Travis Jasper are home, leading the emergency room at the hospital that serves the same community that raised them. Think about the child in Richmond who walks into that ER and sees these two men running it. That child just saw their own future. Congratulations, Doctors. Keep leading. We are proud of you.
