๐โจ Happy New Lunar Year 2026 โจ๐
As we step into a new year, we pause in gratitude and wonder.
MoonMars Museum โ the first museum on the Moon โ was founded by two women together with their communities, @paladinpunks & @VAVortex, and became a reality in 2025 at Mare Crisium, redefining what art, memory, and human legacy can be.
This first lunar exhibition, within the amazing metaverse designed by meta-architect 0xWolfgang on @oncyber, carries the voices of the global art community: The first @cryptopunks pair on the Moon, Nest by @MaryKuiper13 (previously exhibited on the International Space Station), the original blueprints of Paul van Hoeydonckโs Fallen Astronaut, alongside 3D art, photography, digital works, sculpture, pixel art โ and even a childrenโs book.
๐In 2026, we continue our journey to the lunar South Pole โ the Nobile Region.
We are honored to bring @PlanckWallFellaโs animation to the Moon, traveling on the rover in the @goLifeShip Pyramid, with tech partners @SPhotonix and PrintOptix. Also represented aboard @astrobotic Griffin -1 lunar lander through our partnership with Bruce Ha and the revolutionary Permanent Archive @Nano_Fiche.
To all artists, collaborators, communities, partners, friends, and fellow moonwalkers โ thank you. This mission exists because of our imagination, trust, and belief in a future where art belongs everywhere, even on the Moon and beyond.
๐ On the Moon, reaching for the stars.๐
Hereโs to a luminous year ahead.๐ฅ
Chromosome 42 โ MAX IV Control System by Filip Persson (@Lord_iiiip)
DNA of Humanity | The Mare Crisium Collection
This artwork visualizes the thousands of interconnected accelerator components that make MAX IV possible โ the world's first 4th generation synchrotron light source.
By transforming a complex technological system into a visual language, the work explores the intersection of science, engineering, and art.
It represents the first work in the emerging art genre Technical Art, founded by Lord iiiip.

Lost in DNA reflects on a fundamental question:
Are we merely shaped by our DNA, or something more?

The Moon is set to 'Swallow' the Star Regulus.
On May 23, 2026, some can see the Moon Occult Regulus, meaning that the moon will pass in front of the star Regulus, and for some observers, block its light.
According to the astronomy guide In-The-Sky, stargazers across Fiji, Samoa, Tonga, and several other Pacific island nations will witness the dark, shadowed edge of the half-lit moon move directly in front of Regulus during the early hours of May 23, completely blocking the star's light.
According to NASA, this parallax effect can cause the moon's apparent position in the sky to vary by as much as 2 degrees from different vantage points on Earth. In some parts you will therefore see the star very close to the edges if the moon, even if not able to see it disappear behind.
Lucky Stargazing people! โจ๐

NASA just released 12,000 photos from the Artemis II missionโNASAโs first crewed lunar flyby in over 50 years!
The archive includes everything from striking views of Earth to intimate moments inside the Orion spacecraft, along with awe-inspiring lunar scenes seen from a rare vantage point beyond the Moonโs far side. These are the first astronaut-taken images from beyond low Earth orbit in more than half a century, offering a fresh and powerful perspective on both our planet and its closest cosmic companion.
Here is our pick ๐๐
#NASAโs SLS (Space Launch System) rocket lifted off from Launch Pad 39B at the agencyโs Kennedy Space Center in Florida at 6:35 p.m. EDT on April 1, 2026, sending @NASAArtemis astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Christina Koch and CSA (Canadian Space Agency) astronaut Jeremy Hansen aboard the #Orion spacecraft on a planned test flight around the #Moon and back.

DNA of Humanity | The Mare Crisium Collection
Recognized metaverse architect 0xWolfgang, known for designing immersive virtual spaces across Web3 and NFT art communities, created the MoonMars Museum - the digital counterpart to the first museum on the Moon. His work transforms architecture into experience, enabling a shared, multiplayer space where the Mare Crisium Collection can be explored on Earth while the original archive resides on the lunar surface.

What the crew of Artemis II accomplished over the past 10 days stands as a powerful reminder of human courage and vision. Traveling farther from Earth than any humans before, re-entering at over 24,000 mph, and returning safelyโitโs a milestone shaped by both bravery and brilliance.
At MoonMars Museum, this moment resonates deeply with our missionโto carry human stories, art, and memory beyond Earth, and into the fabric of space itself. Each step forward in exploration opens new pathways not only for science but for culture, creativity, and legacy.
Thank you to @NASAArtemis and everyone behind this mission for expanding whatโs possibleโand for reminding us why we reach for the Moon. ๐
