We’ve been waiting a long time for this moment…🦇
After more than a year hidden deep inside the cave, we’re finally ready to reveal the first 3D MoonBat.
We never wanted to rush this.
We wanted to give him time to evolve.
Time to get every detail right.
Time to let him cook in the cave.🔥🦇
A huge thank you to the incredibly talented @MeowMrkat, who worked with us to bring our vision to life and helped turn a MoonBat into something we could finally see beyond the PFP.
We’ve had this character sitting in the shadows for over a year…And now it’s time to let him out of the cave!
But before there was #1…
There was Xero.
XERO // MB-000
The first 3D MoonBat.
The beginning of a new chapter.
The one before the one. 🦇
Welcome to the world, Xero.
We hope everyone enjoyed the Harvest Moon this weekend. 🌕🦇
The Harvest Moon has traditionally been associated with the season of gathering the harvest...a time to appreciate what’s been grown, celebrate abundance, and give thanks for the work and journey that brought us here.
That feels pretty fitting for the MoonBats. We’ve built, grown, laughed, supported one another, and kept hanging together through it all.
Keep shining, keep showing love, and always appreciate the people who make the cave feel like home.
Much love to all the MoonBats. ❤️🌕🦇
My heart goes out to everyone who lost assets in the hack today. 💔Behind every wallet is a person, a collector, and a story…and seeing people lose pieces of what they built and loved hurts.
But this space has always been about more than what was lost.
We support each other. We pick up the pieces. We rebuild.
The cracks may remain but so does the community.
We rebuild together. We keep moving forward. We never give up. 🦇

Prompt 👇
Create a cinematic character portrait using the uploaded reference character, seated quietly inside a dense pile of oversized strange companion-creatures.
Likeness Integrity
Preserve the uploaded character exactly: head-to-body proportions, eye shape and spacing, facial structure, silhouette, anatomy, original colors, materials, clothing, footwear, accessories, and design language. Do not humanize, redesign, or alter facial features.
Core Scene
The character sits naturally in the foreground, slightly slouched and emotionally detached, while a chaotic mass of large soft creatures crowds behind and around them.
The creatures should feel like bizarre collectible mascots from the same universe as the character.
Each creature is different, but their design language is subtly derived from the uploaded character through:
compatible color accents
related geometric shapes
echoes of the character’s material language
simplified motifs inspired by its traits
Do not make literal animal copies of the character.
The creatures can combine unexpected forms such as:
bulbous fish-like bodies
awkward bird-beaks
tiny fins
horns
oversized round eyes
strange tails
soft stuffed limbs
mismatched abstract appendages
Their anatomy should feel intentionally surreal and toy-like rather than biologically realistic.
Composition
The character occupies the lower-middle area of the frame and remains clearly readable.
The creatures form a dense asymmetric pyramid behind the character, overlapping heavily and filling almost the entire background.
Some creatures are partially cropped by the frame edges.
One large creature presses into the foreground from screen-left, while another rises behind the character’s head on screen-right.
Avoid perfect symmetry.
The pile should feel almost too large for the frame.
Pose & Mood
The character sits with legs relaxed forward, hands resting naturally beside or between the legs.
Head tilted slightly downward.
Expression and body language: calm, tired, introspective, almost indifferent to the bizarre creatures surrounding them.
The contrast is important:
creatures = visual chaos
character = complete stillness
Camera
Use a medium-wide environmental portrait, not a close portrait.
Camera positioned approximately 15–20% farther away than a typical medium portrait, allowing the complete seated character, surrounding companions, floor, and full creature-pile silhouette to remain visible together.
Use a 70mm lens equivalent, camera approximately at the seated character’s upper-torso height, looking almost straight toward the group with only a subtle downward angle.
The central character must occupy only approximately 48–50% of the total frame height, measured from the top of the head to the bottom of the shoes.
The character must feel small enough to be surrounded by the creatures, rather than visually dominating them.
Both shoes must be completely visible with a clear strip of empty floor beneath them.
Leave visible breathing room:
above the highest creature
along both sides of the creature pile
beneath the character’s shoes
The entire creature arrangement should read as one large pyramid-shaped group within the frame.
Several foreground creatures may be cropped naturally at the extreme left and right edges, but do not crop or tightly frame the central character.
Do not push the camera closer to fill the frame with the character.
Do not create a waist-up, knee-up, or tight portrait.
The framing should feel like the viewer has taken one deliberate step backward, revealing the complete relationship between the character and the surrounding creature crowd.
Critical scale relationship:
central seated character = approximately half the image height
creature pile = approximately 85–90% of the image height
the pile, not the central character, is the largest compositional mass.
Depth of Field
Primary focal plane on the character’s face and upper torso.
The nearest surrounding creatures remain readable but slightly softer.
Creatures farther behind progressively fall into shallow blur.
No full-frame sharpness.
The character must remain the emotional anchor.
Lighting
Single strong directional key light from upper screen-left.
Soft warm light catches the character’s face, clothing, and selected creature surfaces.
Opposite sides fall into broad dimensional shadow.
Subtle cool ambient fill from the opposite side.
Small rim highlights separate overlapping silhouettes.
No flat studio lighting.
Material Style
Premium stylized collectible rendering.
Creature surfaces should feel tactile:
soft vinyl, matte rubber, painted resin, plush-like areas, subtle fabric details where appropriate.
Visible tiny imperfections, shallow dents, seams, soft surface wear, and gentle specular highlights.
Preserve the uploaded character’s original material identity rather than forcing these materials onto it.
Background
Minimal warm off-white or pale neutral studio background.
No environment, furniture, text, logos, scenery, or decorative props.
The mass of creatures itself becomes the background.
Color
Keep the uploaded character’s original palette intact.
Creature colors should harmonize with it rather than duplicate it exactly.
Muted coral, dusty blue, cream, ochre, charcoal, or equivalent tones derived intelligently from the uploaded character.
Controlled saturation, soft highlight roll-off, slightly warm cinematic grade.
Rendering Feel
A strange fusion of designer-toy photography, restrained anime-inspired character rendering, and premium editorial illustration.
Clean silhouette edges with subtle painterly softness inside surfaces.
Do not make it glossy-polished or hyper-photorealistic.
The final image should feel tender, strange, crowded, and slightly melancholy, as though the character has somehow become the reluctant keeper of an entire species of bizarre companions.
No text. No border. No watermark.
