@lolamarie106 Post surgery the worst part besides all the eye drops, that got old real quick, was not being able to get my face wet for 7 days. At about day 4 I really wanted to wash my face. I’d wash my hands and get jealous lol.

@lolamarie106 It was super quick. Of course there were tests I had to go through before and a laser procedure for surgery prep I had to do a week before that was honestly the worst part. I’m pretty sure I sacrificed rubbing my eyes for the gift of sight... but I’m ok with that.

@lolamarie106 Yes. I had it done in August of this year it’ll be 2 years. No complications. It was terrifying tbh since you are awake w/ just enough anesthesia to be in “twilight”. Whole thing took 35 min which wasn’t bad. I’m glad I went through with it. I’d totally do it again if I had to.

@KammyKamzz I had what’s called ICL surgery. They implanted lenses in both my eyes. It wasn’t cheap though... it cost about $9,000.

@lolamarie106 @people Same! My right eye was a -12 and my left was almost a -11... I had surgery and I see almost 20/20 now without glasses or contacts, but the struggle is real! I feel ya!
