Just because a college athlete is good doesn’t mean they’re going to play professionally — in fact, only 2% of college athletes actually go pro. Remember, student athletes aren't pros, and they definitely don’t deserve to be harassed over a sports bet.

The Big Ten Student Athlete Issues Commission (SAIC), a commission of college athletes who represent their schools, sent a letter to #NCAA President Charlie Baker: “Prop bets are a direct avenue to the overwhelming number of death threats that student-athletes receive if they ‘ruin a parlay’ or cause a fan to lose their bet.” While Ohio has already outlawed #PropBetting, the letter highlights the growing threat of betting-related harassment. As more leaders raise awareness to protect student athletes, we need your help. Keep reading at the link in the comments.
