I might start a podcast where all I talk about is how overrated Rudy Gobert is. Because he gets blocks and rebounds he somehow has convinced people he’s a good defender but he’s literally a liability.
When the game is on the line teams literally force the switch and iso him…
We might have to stop teaching sliding. Either run out of bounds or just brace for contact and be a runner. I don’t want to see these hits anymore and I understand the defenses point. How do you know if he’s gonna slide or not
That said, if this occurs definitely don’t celebrate
Nearly identical to Dante’s today.
2 things:
- only slide if you can get down plenty early (some argue dive vs slide)
- never slide when trying to get a first down
1. I see so many QB’s get ruled down short because you’re down when you begin your slide
2. Defender is more likely to come in aggressive to prevent first down (leading to bad hits)
Protect yourself as a runner to get the first
You know how stupid you gotta be to ask a question like this? Where do you want him to perform… in the rubble?
At this point I’m having a hard time figuring out if it’s stupidity or evil. It’s definitely both but trying to figure out which gene is dominant here.
19-25 289 2TD 0INT in 3 quarters of play. This is not just getting it done. That’s excelling. What I saw on the play to Johnson that got called back told me everything I needed to know.
Let’s not forget who Raiola was coming into college. This is Bo Nix 2.0. I’m all in.
"3-0 against these guys. I guess if you're a good football player in the area you should come to Oregon. Or you can stay in LA and go to a Chris Brown concert." - Dan Lanning
@ryancconnell I hate what happened to Dante. But the offense is unlocked under Raiola. Now just need to find a defense and the train is back on the tracks
