for around ten years, i’ve focused heavily on creation, building websites and doing graphic design, while always making sure i stayed up to date with the latest tools and technologies.

even though i’ll never stop creating, because i genuinely enjoy spending time prototyping in figma and building websites with webflow and framer, i think it might be time to move up to the next level. i can feel it myself. more and more, business owners and individuals are coming to me for advice rather than simply asking me to execute something for them. that’s a strong signal, and i intend to take advantage of it. the timing feels right.

i’ve used pretty much everything. i started with small modifications on tumblr, then moved to wordpress, cargo collective, wix, webflow, framer, and eventually hard-coded websites with next.js, nuxt, astro, and so on. in short, i’ve spent so much time executing, learning, experimenting, and adapting that moving into consulting now feels like the natural next step.

i’m not starting from scratch. i didn’t come out of nowhere, and i’ve earned the right to make this move. i think i’m finally ready to own that.

so, alongside building websites whenever the right opportunities come up, i’m also going to turn sidebay into a consulting firm. not making this pivot would be a mistake.

still doing the youtube vlogs. that's not changing, founding design content keeps going.

but there's gonna be a new format soon too — because there's something else i've been building behind the scenes.

failed at it 5 times. actually walked away from it more than once. 6th attempt was different, it just worked, and i've been sitting on it quietly making sure it wasn't luck.

time to actually show it. build it in public instead of hiding it.

sidebay supply isn't going anywhere either, still want to give that product expertise to companies who need it, and this new thing just proves it even more.

I've rebuilt this website more times than I'd like to admit — never quite satisfied, always tweaking, restarting. This time's different. It's not going anywhere. Maybe a few small adjustments here and there, but nothing major.

it's been a while since I posted here.

sidebay supply started in 2020, on the 17th floor of a building, with two roommates who watched the whole thing unfold — long before I knew where it would go.
I started with Webflow templates then Framer.

for a long time I just shipped products quietly, in the background. Somewhere along the way, I started taking on real client work too — and that's where the actual learning happened. Working for people, not just selling to them, teaches you things templates alone never will.

that experience changed how I build. What started as a small template shop slowly became something closer to a studio — one that actually thinks about webdesign, not just sells it.
