No parameters. No further instructions. See what kids come up with. I have a feeling that we will realize that teachers underestimate our students every day!
This summer, I have noticed how important boredom is in a child's life. Being bored stimulates creativity in kids. Teachers- How can we help this creativity and keep it going?
We obviously don't want boring classrooms, but we do want students to be independently creative. What about this? One day, stop class, and say, "We need help understanding ___! You have this period to create something that will help us understand___."
