Hey buddy, been years! Great episode. I love the challenging new ideas, but as someone with 10 children (ages 7 to 26), AaronS isn’t wrong… yet he is missing some learnings around the value of things like coercion, arbitrary rules, yelling, and other kinds of conflict. EX: Parents need to model leadership and uncomfortable decisions - which can look like coercion. Lessons from dealing with that become more important as kids get older, and interact with the broader world.
