This hokey childrens movie with a message is a waste of Chuck's talent and the viewer's time. Preachy and heavyhanded with a cartoonish villain. Chuck only shows up in a few scenes as a ghost or spirit or something. Even diehard fans should pass. 💣

Chuck teams up with a dog in this combined rip-off of Turner & Hooch and K-9. Also checks all the usual cop cliche boxes. Lone cop, brought off suspension to investigate murder of cop and is joined by dead man's partner. Only this one is a dog. So is the movie. **

5 years before Arnold faced the End Of Days, Chuck had his own battle with the Devil. While both films revel in shlock, Hellbound lacks the wit or style to overcome it. Not to mention cliche ridden story & hollow characters. Generic demonic thriller. **

Chuck started the gentler side of his career with this film in which he makes little more than a glorified cameo. Starring as himself. Mix between charming inspiration & cynical egotrip. Movie is equally mixed bag. Fails to excite or inspire. *** #chucknorris#take2reviews
Chuck at his most badass! A typical cop movie but Chuck has a big gun and an even bigger mullet. Gritty and very 1991 this is probably the most fun of all his flicks. Lacks a solid villain or 3rd act or it might've been really good. ***1/2

Now THIS is a Chuck Norris movie!! Sequel in name only. A much more satisfying action movie. Top notch Chuck. Amazing action feats and classic one-liners. All you need. Standard plot but who cares? Great Billy Drago villain. ***1/2

Another movie starring Chuck, but not utilizing his strengths. He's good and does what he can with the material. But this thriller is bland and uninspired. Contains little action and wastes Chuck in a thankless role. ***

Chuck tried to compete with Rambo, as a character it's a close call. But Braddock as a movie is a mess. Basically just a retread of the first MIA with less excitement and more emotional drama. But has some cool action scenes. ***

Another Indiana Jones rip-off, but they forgot to include the excitement and entertainment. Chuck is at his lighthearted best, but the film around him is dull and droll. Louis Gossett Jr is a good buddy but also wasted. Disappointing **1/2

Not really a "Chuck Norris movie" but a solid action thriller starring Chuck Norris. More plot heavy and an ensemble disaster film. Well plotted and exciting! One of his better films. Sadly he only shows up at the beginning and end. ****

Chuck single-handedly saves the USA (or at least a few towns) from a terrorist invasion. It's silly fun, but premise is half-baked and lacks any serious tension or excitement. Cool action scenes though. ***

Disappointing. Pedestrian execution of a solid premise But cast is sharp and the film has quick pace. Only thing special is its honest & thoughtful ending But by then it’s 2 little 2 late. A disappointing sophomore effort from the director of Emily The Criminal. *** #take2reviews
Chuck took a break from his gung ho work at Cannon to make what would turn out to be the best film of his career. A gritty cop movie from the director of The Fugitive. Sharply plotted and quickly paced. A smart exciting action thriller. ****1/2

Disappointing sequel lacks the energy and fun of the 1st. Set entirely in a POW camp we spend an hour just watching Chuck get beat and snearin. And the rest crawling through mud and grass. Low on action and inspiration. Better title Missing Action **1/2

Chuck hit full badass mode when he made a deal with Cannon pictures. With Red White & Blue pulsing through his veins he became a one man army representing all of USA. Here he takes on Vietnam and it’s a hell of a ride. Silly fun with great action ***1/2

Chuck finally hit his stride and matches his talents with a strong character. And matches his wits with an epic villain with David Carradine. The entire film is a buildup to their showdown and it’s a fun ride all the way. Well made and exciting! ****1/2

Pretty good straightforward martial arts picture. Well made and a lot more fun than expected. Chuck is more balanced between brooding and amiable. 1 of his most entertaining. Plot is just as routine as usual but this time it works. ***1/2

Chuck’s first big studio picture is a major mess. Great premise is undermined by uneven script and some major tonal shifts. I enjoyed all parts. They just don’t come together as a whole. Final Chuck vs Monster battle is the best part. ***

The first of Chuck’s flicks to feel like a legit movie and not just a typical 70s martial arts quickie. Plot may be thin but film is full of energy and wit and final 20 minutes are packed with excitement. Best of his preCannon output ****

The Octagon is a pretty misleading title for a movie about two men raised as brothers who become enemies and fight to the death (outside of any ring regardless of shape) Full of tropes. But gets by (barely) on its action and inadvertent laughs. ***
