WATCH | A video of Bhekhimpilo Mbedzi (41) appearing before the Beitbridge Magistrate’s Court on charges of inciting an unlawful gathering.

Prosecutors allege that he posted a self-recorded video on Facebook on 10 July 2026, urging Zimbabweans to join planned protests against Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 scheduled for 31 July 2026. In the video, he was seen holding a placard reading “NO TO 2030.” The State says the planned protest was not reported to the relevant authorities as required by law. The matter remains before the courts.
