I hadn't realised that ppl oversized generation for electrolysis like this too, the way I see it used on domestic grids, to keep the capacity factor / availability higher than it otherwise would be for just matching capacity (ie. 200 MW gen / 200 electrolysis)

Have you ever researched the lifecycle analysis of creating and maintaining roads compared to the likely emissions from cars driving along them?
