If I Ruled the World, I would instruct the presidents of every media outlet to air this video in prime time. I would instruct every professor in every university to show it in every class. And then, I would freeze every social media account, until the owners of said accounts watched this seven minute public service announcement in its entirety. However, because I don't rule the world, and because I don't really harbor authoritarian tendencies, (I think,) I can only share the wisdom of Mr. Hudson on my personal page and encourage you to do the same. And invite him onto my podcast, at his convenience.
A couple days ago I was in the Badlands wishing I had @starnerd_1 knowledge of all the different rocks & formations. Steve what type of rocks am I looking at?
If every child came ready to be taught, teaching would be easy. But some need food. Some need supplies. Some need love. Some need nurturing. Some need patience and some to be seen. Teachers meet them where they are as they enter their classroom, and that is most honorable.
Everybody stop and watch this.
Arnold Schwarzenegger, a legal immigrant, successful actor, and former California Governor, just left The View STUNNED.
They attempted to get him to condemn ICE raids and what did he do?
He credited America for his success, promoted legal immigration, and called out violent criminal aliens.
Absolute masterclass:
“I'm so proud and happy that I was embraced by the American people like that. Imagine I came over here with absolutely nothing, and then to create a career like that. In no other country in the world could you do that. Every single thing is because of America.”
“The key thing is that we got to do things legal. Those people that are doing illegal things in America, and they're the foreigners, they are not smart. When you come to America, you're a guest and you have to behave like a guest.”
“You have a responsibility as an immigrant to give back to America and to pay back to America and to go and do something for your community.”
It took me 32 years, but I’m finally graduating!
As I look ahead to this next chapter—retirement—I do so with deep gratitude. Thank you to the Shore Middle School staff and my family for making 21 of those years the most meaningful and rewarding of my career.
@3youngdarlings Thank you Laura. Hope you are still enjoying teaching. I was lucky to teach with you & work with your mom- miss that smile of hers.

@starnerd_1 "Thanks, Steve! My goal was always to make math fun and meaningful—to build real connections with the students and the subject. I truly appreciate your support in helping bring that vision to life. And thank you for being there to help plant trees at Shore
Had to copy this one.
Only two people offered to die for you: Jesus, and the American soldier. One died for your soul, the other died for your freedom. Thank them both on Memorial Day, and every day.

Thing to think about everyday, you can always make more money but you can not make more time. Make the best of each day. We all have lost somebody too soon.
I trust the teacher, the expert in the classroom who has built relationships, provided support and guidance, to measure a student's ability, not a standardized test.
Elementary students should not be taking standardized tests. Because testing becomes the focus of education instead of learning. We take away the fun and excitement of learning, playing, exploring, & creating. We create test takers instead of problem solvers and innovators.
📣 Last night — in the Thompson School District in Loveland, Colorado — young female athletes stood up for themselves to their school board.
Among those brave girls was Cora Cox, a girls’ soccer captain at Thompson Valley HS who led her team to the podium, prayed over the room, and then boldly advocated for her sex-based rights and the safety of ALL girls.
Cora and her teammates should not have been violated & injured by males in their sport. They should not have to be so brave — but thank God they are. We owe it to these girls to keep fighting for them, for their safety, and for their rights. #savegirlssports #realwomenrock

Frustrating to see that well-respected teachers are often unable to put their ideas into practice, ideas that could motivate students & get them more involved in learning. Teachers, the experts in their field, should have more input in shaping the curriculum & how it is taught.
The problem with education isn’t what we teach—it’s what we ignore just because it isn’t on a standardized test: creativity, leadership, critical thinking, resilience, problem-solving, communication—everything that actually helps students succeed in life.
