My students spend ~150 formal hours studying chemistry during the school year. This world has so much to learn and experience. 150 hours is plenty to spend on chemistry!

Shoutout to @flincicu for the push. Tried a new format for finals this year. Instead of a test, kids made portfolios, and we had a celebration of learning.
I didn’t know it was possible to smile during finals!

Takeaway? Oil spill cleanup is hard! Best way to remove oil from water? Prevent it from getting there in the first place!
