My students spend ~150 formal hours studying chemistry during the school year. This world has so much to learn and experience. 150 hours is plenty to spend on chemistry!
Teachers, want to take something off your plate? Put HW in the trash. Especially for elementary, let students go home, run, play, and enjoy being a child. And read a little after playing. Then they come to school recharged instead of stressed out and you will too!
Shoutout to @flincicu for the push. Tried a new format for finals this year. Instead of a test, kids made portfolios, and we had a celebration of learning.
