@perreaux @brendanshowbiz Meh. They only have one young D that I would qualify as excellent, they have some top-6 forwards on the way. It's not like you can't trade for an elite-ish top pair defenceman or two at modest cost when the cap dead wood goes away (see Boston, Carolina, VGK, NJD, EDM, etc.)

Lane Hutson, in game 4 of his NHL career, is causing veteran guys to hesitate before getting too close to him - unpredictability is terrifying to the NHL defender even if the other guy is just wee
