Why does the high temperature not reflect the same high temperature at Midway that it does on my WGN Weather app? Currently at 87 1/4 mile west of airport.

Ok WGN weather gurus, I have a question. The storm that blew through this morning, besides strong winds was there any possibility of an EF-0 imbedded? I ask because they had two incidents at Midway Airport..

In one incident, a parked Cessna was flipped over, and in another incident, a jet bridge blew into a Southwest 737.
